The Muse -- Is it a clock radio or vibrator?

On occasion, I will come cross a product that really catches my eye.  Sure, when I go to trade shows, all the products look good.  The toy makers go out of their way with displays and lighting and their sales pitches are spot on perfect. Especially in trade magazines, everything just jumps out at you.  Photoshop and graphics can sell anything. It's quite overwhelming.

The MUSE
Every few days, I trek over to your distributor's warehouse in the San Fernando Valley to pick up products and see what is new (we are a hands-on company).  Even though this place is loaded with sex toys, there is nothing sexy about about it. I don't mean to destroy any fantasies, but it's a nuts and bolts business.  Dildos and vibrators in crates and boxes,  and what is going out is heaped into shopping carts -- just like ones you would find at Target.  So, there I was just walking down a huge warehouse aisle of "stuff,"  when this odd little creature caught my attention.  It was almost as if he had spoken my name: "I am over here, Amy."  He had this round little body and ears sticking straight up. He was just sitting there with a bunch of other vibrators, but he demanded my attention but in a very subtle way.  Hence his name: MUSE.  He is the MUSE MASSAGER.  By the way, innocent looking you could put him on your nightstand and your roommates would think you had a really interesing clock radio.

Yeah, the descriptions reads something like:  "The Muse is a one-of-a kind clitoral stimulator that’s waterproof, made with premium silicone and has a cute design that is very female friendly."  That is all accurate and fine, but there's more to the MUSE.  I can't quite put my finger on it.  It is ephemeral. Like a muse.  As you can imagined, I  quickly started my research and develpment and added the MUSE to Melrose Urban Female.

The MUSE is a product of NS Novelties.  Just recently they revealed their new  line-up which starred the MUSE.  I will give credit where credit is due.  All their products are really nice.  I am a stickler for nice, simple packaging.  I cannot stand blister packs and packaging with boobs. Enough of my rant... NS Novelties seems to have delivered a very nice line of products.  Excellent design, good packaging and very affordable. They are MUF-worthy.

Thanks for taking the time to read about us and the MUSE.

The Butterfly Kiss Lives On

We've had the Butterfly Kiss in our store, Melrose Urban Female, for a few years now, and it continues to be a bestseller. And we are not at all surprised by its success.  The Buttefly Kiss is the perfect vibrator in many ways.  It's priced right.  It's sized right.  And it works right.

Butterfly Kiss Platinum
You've all heard it: "You get what you pay for."  As the owner of Melrose Urban Female, I don't upsell our customers, but when I really feel they would be better served by a more expensive product, I will put that option out there.  I never want a dissatisfied customer, and I truly do what them to make the right purchase.  But I am also aware of budget limitations and know its important to stay within them.  That said, whenever customers ask about the Butterfly Kiss, I always say: "Good choice. You can't go wrong with that one."  For about $20, they are getting a great vibrator. Not to take anything way from those expensive ones,  because they can be quite amazing and worth every cent. Quality products can last a lifetime.  Cheaper ones will show their age much sooner,  and as we all know... you do get what you pay for.
However, I am a cheerleader for this inexpensive, little sex toy. The Butterfly Kiss has a great design.  It's perfectly shaped for the female body.  It has wings to stimulate the clitoris and a bulbed shaft for internal and g-spot stimulation.  Unlike many vibrators which are stiff, the Butterfly Kiss is flexible, and you can maneuver it to work with your body.  It's sized perfectly for beginners or women who just want a small, extremely quiet vibrator to easily stash in their night stand.  The only caveat would be for women who really want more fullness in a vibrator.  The Butterfly Kiss is not a large, thick vibrator.

Butterfly Kiss

Unlike many vibrators, the Butterfly Kiss has an amazingly simple design.  It's super easy to put the batteries into it and has an easy push-button control.  No dials, no knobs, no up and down arrows.  I will make this declaration:  anyone can work the Butterfly Kiss.  I come across many vibrators and still have to take out manuals or go to you YouTube to figure them out.  No. #1 reason why vibrators come back to us:  incorrect battery insertion.  This has never been a problem with the Butterfly.

Don't get me wrong, there are many other vibrators I really love.  But for the price, the Butterfly Kiss is a smart choice.  Thanks for taking the time to read about it.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
